Macbook suddenly can’t load webpages on any browser

Hi Everyone,

Internet appears connected at the WIFI symbol at the right top of the screen. But I don’t have internet access.
I tested the mobile hotspot, the hotspot also appeared connected but can’t load any webpage.

Tested

Ethernet cable, the same problem.

System settings > network > locations > add new location.
Wifi > details > renew DHCP Lease.
Removed installed profiles on Macbook.

However, the same problem remains.

In the Guest User account internet does work, but Guest User accounts are just temporary for limited parts of the Macbook.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM!!!

Thank you!

Evy

Did you install anti-virus and/or VPN software?
  • VPN is disabled.

Mac’s built-in firewall is enabled, but the same problem remains when disabled.
  • What happens when you uninstall the VPN software? I have had problems with VPN software causing my device to not being able to access the Internet.
  • I have uninstalled the VPN software, but still can’t load webpages.
